So in love with this hat! It's the most beautiful, elegant, and practical hat I've ever had the pleasure of owning! Who knew these features could co-exist? The UPF50+ was a critical feature for me to protect my skin from the extreme UV in S.A. Now I can enjoy my summer walks without looking like I'm dressed to go on a safari! It also does a good job keeping the beating heat from direct sun off the top of my head too! I love that it's packable/crushable, now I can finally own a decent sized, pretty hat that travels! The adjustable strap inside is fantastic. It's smooth and so quick to just tug tighter or push to loosen, and no ugly string under my chin. It's strong enough to withstand beach wind! The size is perfect for me, big enough to cover my shoulders and look elegant, but not too big that it's obnoxious and in the way. The stiff design makes sure it stays straight and doesn't flop around and cover my face and field of vision. The fabric is soft to the touch, which is lovely. It's top quality. The leather detail is my favourite decor/accent that I've seen on a hat so far. And the colour is not as white as I expected, which I was disappointed for at first, it's more off-white, but now I'm so glad because it's still bright and looks gorgeous on my skin, much better than my pure white hat. My hat was perfect for the heat of Sabi Game Reserve. It stayed perfectly on my head during our game drives, thanks to the hidden adjustable strap and no worries of a string tied around my neck. A game changer from the trucker caps I used to wear in the bush. Thank you for a great product!!
